Easing Down the Ways to Maintain Fitness




Fitness has occupied a major part of our lives. And being fit is equally important as being healthy and active. A fit and active body and mind always perform better and last longer. Fitness does not necessarily need heavy equipment, dead lifting, and unending exercises to be created and maintained but it can also be attained by bringing a slight change in daily activities/routine. Everyone and anyone can be fit if there’s a mental desire to do so. 

Here’s how we can bring down the ways to fit and healthy life to our ease. 

1. Fit Steps: Instead of taking the lift to your office or apartment, try to step up the staircase of healthy life to your home and workplace by using the stairs. Fit steps can also be taken by going on foot or by cycling your way down to the nearby grocer rather than traveling by bike, auto, or car. A foot-step is a way of taking a fit-step towards a healthy and fit life. Including such activities in the form of taking fit steps in our daily routine consumes no extra time and becomes a part of our daily routine very easily. 

2. Technology Degradation: Technology, undoubtedly, has upgraded the standard of living of all of us today but is certainly a reason for making the human body lousy and lame. In older times, when there used to be no washing machines, vegetable cutters, vacuum cleaners, etc., the people used to perform their daily chores on their own. And which is why they are way more fit than we as a present generation are. However, it is not easy to manage and do everything on our own, therefore; complete technology degradation can never be a solution. But doing chores like washing your clothes by your hands on weekends, cleaning the house sometimes, chopping vegetables, doing dishes in free time are some ways you put your body to work and burn without any extra effort of lifting up heavy-weights, going to gym and whatnot. 

3. Intermittent Fasting Twice a Month: Almost everything related to mythology or spirituality has a scientific side and so does the concept of fasting. According to scientific facts, fasting once in a while helps to improve the digestion and metabolism of a body and enhances the functionality of body organs as well. Intermittent fasting, at least, twice a month can help your body to react well later on. Intermittent fasting of 18-20 hours is the best. However, if you are unable to hold hunger or are suffering from any medical ailment, please consult your doctor before trying and adopting the plan of intermittent fasting in your monthly schedule. 

4. Bottoms-up with the Glass full of Water: Drinking plenty of water is one of the best ways you can let out all the toxins in your body and be fit. Remind yourself to drink at least 4-5 litres of water every day. Drinking a lot of water helps to get your body rid of all the toxins and is very beneficial for a healthy physical internal system. In addition to the above tip, drinking lukewarm water on a regular basis can also help you lose a minimum of 2 kg of weight per month and also proves to avoid usual throat infections because of seasonal changes. 

5. Adopt Healthy Eating Habits: Adopting healthy eating habits is one of the easiest and healthiest ways to try out in order to create a healthy and fit lifestyle for you. It is always advisable to take timely meals, avoid excessive sugar intake on a daily basis, avoid daily usage of unsaturated fats, avoid over-eating every now and then, and avoid eating heavy meals at night. According to medical science, it is said that the breakfast must include enough and more energy-producing food, the lunch must be rich in nutrients, the evening snacks are also a mandate but must not be too heavy to digest and finally, the dinner or the last meal of the day must be very light and simple. Adopting such eating habits in daily life can lead you to a healthy lifestyle without even having to starve and strict yourself to some absolutely weird diet plans. 

6. Improve your sleep cycle: Taking 7-8 hours of sound sleep every day is very important to remain fit. Sleeping irregularly or missing out on core hours to sleep is responsible for spoiling health. 

These minimal and easy to adopt changes can help you to maintain your fitness without having to invest extra penny and an extra hour of your very quickly slipping away times.
