EDUCATION
· Tare Zameen Foundation has been working on giving basic education to illiterate adults, formal schooling to children and dropouts, and creating awareness regarding the importance of education.
· The organization aims to put at least 500 children, including dropouts to formal schooling system by 2020.
· Keeping in mind the plight of the Divyang’s education, the foundation plays a vital role in bringing the Divyang segment of society to the forefront by providing them teachers, motivators, and trainers to help them sharpen and re-develop their skills.
· It also believes that investing in education especially for girls at least till matriculation; helps alleviate them from extreme poverty.
HEALTH
· Tare Zameen Foundation has been conducting Awareness Programmes and free health camps relentlessly to address the ignorance on the health of the people especially, of women and children and to create awareness about a critical illness like HIV, Cancer, Leprosy, etc.
· The organization also conducts awareness programs on menstrual health along with free sanitary pads distributions since a lot of women do not have the proper knowledge about it.
· The foundation believes that immediate action is required to reduce and prevent child stunting in India by providing effective health care systems and treating all segments of society, especially the vulnerable.
EMPOWERMENT
· Our organization works towards a society based on equality and justice by empowering girls in the most marginalized communities to steer collective action for social change.
· The organization is also working towards the empowerment of the Divyangs or the Disabled who are one of the vulnerable sections of our society.
· The organization mobilizes the Divyangs in one network for sharing the latest achievements and success in work and employment and accessibilities under CRPD.
· Their empowerment and economic capacities to wage and employment, accessibility, and engaging with public and private sectors in policy reform and networking collaboration and coordination mechanism established through project activities.
· We work to ensure improved livelihood to the disadvantaged persons with disabilities and physically challenged groups (women and men) to collectively address livelihoods and vulnerability.
