Things were moving smoothly all around the world but suddenly because of COVID-19, everything came to a halt.
Gradually the virus started spreading around the globe and brought changes to people's lifestyles. It covered not only social, economic but also educational sectors which have made the children fall in joy and stress both at the same time.
As the coronavirus came in, some people didn't take it seriously. Then the lockdown to them was just as summer holidays where they sat free from all worries back at home and enjoyed the break without any leave and the same was the condition with students as they thought they were free from the school and colleges. But while the time started passing and the spread of coronavirus heightened, everyone started worrying about their jobs, education, etc.
During the Pandemic, the students who were just admitted to classes 10th and 12th got more alarmed as almost none of them visited their new classrooms of this session and as the time waits for none so here almost half of the term has got over. Students are only able to access the online classes which have brought stress amongst them.
The lockdown has led to a massive increase in online classes and sessions which in turn are leading to the new age problems in students like frustration because of hiked scree usage time, eye problems, and other like issues.
The other major repercussion of such a form of education is that a massive number of students are being deprived of education because of poor network connectivity or lack of enough facilities to access online classroom programs. However, online classroom programs have been the new normal for students during this hour of the Pandemic.
It's not only the school students that are suffering, but the college students have been bearing the brunt of the situation amid the coronavirus outbreak. All the students have a quite similar situation as the school students are worried about their performance and the college they want to get in after schooling. In contrast, college students are worried about their exams and placements.
The greater stress is seen amongst the students who passed out from their school last year and took a drop; they are the ones who are more worried about this year's session as they don't want to miss out another year from their records.
It has also been apprehensive for the ones who got their placements but now are either jobless or now working with fewer salaries.
This Pandemic has affected every student, and the major impacts of this have been:
Education shifted to E-learning.
Less seriousness and more stress.
Uncertainty of future education.
Issues for students studying abroad.
More use of technology is harming students' health.
Thus, it can be concluded that the Pandemic has turned the world upside down, but we need to think positively for the future and should keep working on it because positivity can bring an enormous change all around.
Positive thinking and adaptation to the new normal of the schooling process can be the best choice for students and the only way to sail through this hour of difficulty that the entire world is bearing the brunt of. A little change for something better is never harmful; rather, it can prove out to be the ultimate solution to a problem.
